Hello my name is Kris Johnson and founder of Krimson Dobermans.  I was first acquainted with dog shows in 1996 when I was just 15 years old. It was a love-at-first-site experience for me and it truly changed my life. My first breed was Golden Retrievers and switched breeds to Dobermans in 2001 when I bought my first Doberman; Cora.

In 2003, I raised my first Doberman litter and bred my first AKC Champion; Ch. Krimson’s Bold Venture; Derby. When Derby completed his Championship, that made Krimson Dobermans a Champion-producing breeding program in just a couple of years in the sport.

Since then, the results of breeding and raising quality Dobermans has been truly a pleasure.  With hard work and blood, sweat, and tears invested, it’s no accident that our dogs today flourish as fine representations of the breed.

We are meticulous on how we raise our dogs. They are our pets first and show dogs second. We believe in raising our Dobermans in our home and being members of our extended family.  Shannon and I are devoted to raising, showing, and breeding (quality) Dobermans to better the breed.  A couple of our core philosophies that we stand by are “Quality over quantity” and “Never take short cuts.” Shannon and I are devoted to raising, showing, and breeding (quality) Dobermans to better the breed.

Today, we are a quality Doberman bloodline that is recognized by the American Kennel Club as a Breeder of Merit (since 2014).  I’ve also been a member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) since 2010.

Member of the DPCA and proud to be an AKC Breeder of Merit
